There have been many changes in the area of vision care in recent years. Here are some of the ways we are able to care for you and your family:
We can diagnose and treat most cases of conjunctivitis or "pink eye." Prescribing the appropriate drug or therapy is important in dealing with these conditions quickly and effectively.
Children's vision is very important to us. As a part of InfantSEE, we provide a free eye exam to any child under the age of 12 months. Just let us know when you call that you have an infant you want us to examine.
If you have diabetes, we can perform your yearly dilated retinal evaluation with digital photos and keep your medical doctor informed of your progress. In many cases, your medical insurance will help pay for this examination and further testing as required.
If you have glaucoma, we can monitor your intraocular pressures, photograph your optic nerves and prescribe the appropriate medications.
We work closely with several excellent surgeons if you need cataract surgery. In most cases, we can see you the day after your surgery and continue your care here, saving you unnecessary trips out of town.
We have the instruments and experience to remove a foreign body from your eye, so a visit to the emergency room is not required.
We can photographically monitor and advise you on the newest treatments for macular degeneration. We also have a variety of magnifiers and other low vision aids available to help restore your visual function.
We can advise you regarding laser vision correction procedures. We are affiliated with the largest laser vision correction company in North America, and we have many very happy post-laser patients.
In addition to an appropriately thorough eye examination, we will continue to provide you with the finest lenses and frames, as well as the newest contact lenses for daily, extended or multifocal wear.
